How does the rental work?

It is simple — you book online or text us at (251) 270-1212, choose your package, and pick a delivery date. We deliver clean, heavy-duty attached-lid totes straight to your door throughout Baldwin County. A dolly is included with all packages except the Studio. You pack and move at your own pace. When you are done unpacking just text us and we come pick everything up. No tape, no cardboard, no dumpster run. The standard rental period is 14 days and extensions are available by the week if you need more time.
Booking & Service Area
Do you deliver to my city?

We serve all of Baldwin County — including Fairhope, Daphne, Spanish Fort, Foley, Loxley, and Robertsdale. Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are available but subject to scheduling availability — please contact us before booking to confirm your delivery date.
How do I book?

The easiest way is to fill out our booking form with your package, delivery date, and address. You can also text or call us at (251) 270-1212. We'll confirm your booking and send over your rental agreement to sign before delivery.
Do you offer same-day delivery?
+
Same-day delivery is not guaranteed but may be available depending on scheduling. We recommend booking at least 2-3 days in advance to secure your preferred delivery date. Text us at (251) 270-1212 and we'll let you know if same-day is possible.
How do I pay?

We accept cash, Venmo, Zelle, and major credit cards. Payment is due at or before delivery. A credit card is kept on file for the duration of your rental for any damage, loss, or unreturned tote fees per your rental agreement.
Packages & Totes
How many totes do I need?
+
A good rule of thumb is one tote per closet plus additional totes for kitchen, living room, and garage items. Our packages are sized by bedroom count — Studio (20 totes), 1BR (30 totes), 2BR (40 totes), 3BR (55 totes). If you're unsure, go up one package size — it's almost always better value than a second delivery after drop-off. Not sure? Text us and we'll help you decide.
Do I need to tape the lids?

No — never. Our totes have attached lids that click shut and stay shut. No tape, no tape gun, no seams popping open mid-move. That's one of the biggest advantages over cardboard boxes.
Are the totes clean?
+
Yes — every tote is cleaned and sanitized between each rental. You'll receive fresh, clean totes every single time. If you receive a tote that doesn't meet your standards please let us know immediately.
Is a dolly included?
+
A dolly is included with all packages except the Studio package. For 1 Bedroom and larger packages the dolly is included at no extra charge — stack your totes and roll entire loads at once. It's one of the biggest time-savers on moving day. Studio customers who need a dolly can request one for a small additional fee — just let us know when booking.
Rental Period & Extensions
How long can I keep the totes?

The standard rental period is 14 days from the date of delivery. That gives you plenty of time to pack, move, and unpack at your own pace. Extensions are available by the week if you need more time.
What if I need more time?
+
No problem — just text or call us before your scheduled pickup date and we'll extend your rental by the week. Extension fees range from $25-$110/week depending on your package size. You can also pre-pay extensions at booking for a 10% discount. See our full extension pricing.
What if I need more totes after delivery?
+
We can make a second delivery for a flat $25 delivery fee plus $4.00 per additional tote (minimum 10 totes). However we strongly recommend upgrading your package before delivery — it's almost always a better value than a second trip. See our add-on pricing for full details.
Can I return the totes early?
+
Absolutely — early returns are always welcome. Just text us and we'll schedule a pickup at your convenience. Please note the rental fee is non-refundable once totes have been delivered, regardless of early return.
Delivery & Pickup
Do I need to be home for delivery and pickup?
+
Not necessarily — just let us know a suitable location to leave the totes (front porch, garage, etc.) and we can leave them without you present. Same for pickup. However please note that Totes on the Move is not responsible for theft or damage to totes left unattended at your direction.
Is there a delivery fee?

No — delivery and pickup are included in every package at no extra charge. The price you see is the price you pay (plus applicable rental tax).
How does pickup work when I'm done?

When you're done unpacking just text us at (251) 270-1212 and we'll schedule a pickup time that works for you. Stack the totes and dolly somewhere accessible and we'll take care of the rest. No cardboard pile, no dumpster run — we handle everything.
Damage & Policies
What if a tote gets damaged?

Normal wear and tear — minor scuffs, surface marks, minor lid wear — is expected and not charged. Totes damaged beyond reasonable use incur a $25/tote replacement fee charged to the card on file. See our full rental terms for details.
What if a tote is lost or stolen?
+
You are responsible for all totes during your rental period. Lost or stolen totes incur a $25/tote replacement fee charged to the card on file. We recommend keeping totes in a secure location, especially overnight.
Can I cancel my booking?
+
You can cancel before delivery at no charge. Once totes have been delivered the rental fee is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule your delivery date just text us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Realtor Partners
Do you offer anything for realtors?
+
Yes — we have a Realtor Partner Program designed specifically for Baldwin County agents who want to stand out at closing. You pre-pay a monthly package at a significant discount and use the deliveries as closing gifts for your clients. When your client closes you either text us their name and number and we reach out directly, or simply tell them to call or text us at (251) 270-1212 and mention your name. We handle delivery, pickup, and everything in between — your name goes on every tote label.
